But the true paradise of relaxation is found in the spa area, located in the renovated stable of the building. Here, guests can immerse themselves in the heated whirlpool, letting themselves be lulled by its gentle waves and the chromotherapy hues that change according to the chromotherapy. The Finnish sauna offers a rejuvenating experience for body and mind, while in the relaxation area, you can lounge on comfortable deck chairs and be carried away by the relaxing sound of ambient music.
All this harmonizes seamlessly with the authentic atmosphere of the structure, carved out of the historic family home in the heart of the medieval village's old town. Every detail has been carefully curated to preserve the enchantment of the past, offering guests a unique experience that combines the charm of the ancient with the luxury of modern comforts.
Breakfast is served in the room starting at 08:30 and must be reserved the evening before at the reception. The Italian breakfast includes croissant, toasted bread with jam, coffee, cappuccino, cereal, yogurt, pie, and fruit juice. We can also accommodate special requirements like gluten-free or lactose-free foods, or even a salty breakfast for an additional charge of 5 euros per person.

**GREEN ROOM** **Thematic Choice:** The "Green Room" deeply embodies the connection with the Sicilian territory through the color green, a symbol of nature and tradition. The green of the unspoiled nature of the Madonie Park and the Favara and Granza Reserve, two oases that surround the town on two sides, is reflected in the tones and furnishings of the room. The green of the thermal pools, which flow at the foot of the village and draw their color from the dissolved minerals, adds a unique and well-being touch. Furthermore, the ancient green glass jars, once used to store oil and wine, now enhance the room as unique and precious decorative elements, blending past and present in harmonious balance. The "Green Room" thus becomes a tribute to the beauty and richness of the Sicilian territory. **Space Description:** The Green Room is divided into two areas: the living area and the sleeping area. It was created from the living area of the ancestors of the current owner. Here, "Nanna Pippina" spent entire afternoons knitting, sitting in front of what is now the entrance to the room. This area, facing north and never directly hit by sunlight, offers the refreshment of a delightful "tramuntanata" during summer afternoons, a wind coming from the seaside area at the foot of the Madonie promontory. The current staircase to the wellness area, carved into the limestone rock, used to connect the house to the barn. The two environments were separated by a floor hatch, called "Catarrattu," which no longer exists. The "Green Room" thus preserves the charm and historical memory of the house, integrating traditional and natural elements into a modern and welcoming space.
After ten years of traveling the world for work, I have decided to invest in my hometown. Not for a simple sense of belonging, but for my love for the Porta Soprana area, which I consider a part of Sicily with great potential that has yet to be fully understood and exploited. For me, Porta Soprana represents not only the realization of a project that has matured over the years, but also a personal challenge that I want to carry out with love, in order to stay in the places close to my heart and not bend to the demands of modern times.
The village of Sclafani Bagni, located between the Madonie Park and the Bosco di Favara e Granza Reserve, is a place steeped in history and mystery. Its ancient and uncertain origins tell of a past rich in events and cultural stratifications, but what is certain is its role as a strategic military point over the centuries, thanks to its dominant position extending from the sea of Termini Imerese to Mount Cammarata in the province of Agrigento.
The heart of the village is enriched by the majestic Mother Church, which houses a precious pipe organ dating back to 1600, a witness to centuries of devotion and sacred art. The characteristic views of the historic center enchant visitors with their winding streets, the facades of ancient houses, and the flowered balconies.
At the foot of the inhabited center lies a freely accessible thermal spring, a natural resource that has provided relief and wellness to residents and weary travelers for centuries. Just 1 km from the inhabited center extends an equipped picnic area, complete with a playground, soccer field, and barbecue areas, an ideal place to spend pleasant moments in the open air. This area is also the ideal starting point for excursions and trekking to discover the surrounding landscapes.
Two kilometers from the inhabited center, majestic cliffs rise, boasting hundreds of routes for climbing enthusiasts, offering exciting challenges and breathtaking views. Furthermore, the village is crossed by the Via dei Camminatori "Vie Francigene di Sicilia", a route that connects ancient villages and places of interest throughout Sicily, offering travelers a unique opportunity to explore the region on foot, immersed in its history and natural beauty.
Additionally, in the vicinity of the structure, there are numerous agri-food companies offering tasting routes, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the culinary culture.
